Summer Workshop: Putting It Together
Ages 10 to 18
A one-week immersive experience where the students collaborate in writing, directing, and performing in their own musical. What better way to learn and appreciate all of the many parts involved in producing a musical? And the entire process will be filmed as a reality documentary!
Students will be fast-tracked through the process of writing the script and score, casting, coordinating, rehearsing, directing, choreographing, and presenting an original musical. Our faculty will prepare students by thoroughly explaining the process of producing, the roles, budget, and timeline. From there, they will serve as a mentor and support the production technically with lighting, sound, costuming, and safety guidelines.
9am to 4pm
Limited to 15 students (ages 10 to 18)
